I have been caring for children of various ages from newborns and toddlers to school-aged and teenagers for over 12 years. I am the eldest child of 2 sets of identical twins(boys and girls) and two additional brothers. This experience demonstrated my capabilities so that neighbors, and fellow community members, would extend the opportunity for me to care for their children. During my time serving in the U.S. Air Force and when I was pursuing my degree, I often volunteered with organizations that provided after-school care and mentorship opportunities for the youth. My sorority also has several youth initiatives that promote academic excellence and the development of physical, emotional and mental health. I enjoy cooking, reading, crocheting, playing sports and games and I'm a huge trivia and movie buff. I am First Aid/CPR/AED certified and I have experience caring for twins and children with special needs. I often assist with Read more cleaning, laundry, cooking, homework/tutoring, running errands and bedtime routines. Although I am willing to assist with pet care, I am allergic to cats.
