Hello! I'm a college student, which means I am only looking for summer jobs. I'm energetic and a responsible person. I am a fairly athletic person, and I enjoy playing games outside, so if your kids are active players I am definitely someone to consider! I also enjoy art and music, and I love animals. I would be willing to help take care of pets as needed in addition to providing childcare. I have not had much past in-home babysitting experience, but I have been an assistant camp counselor at multiple summer camps. I helped watch 5-6 year olds at Camp Carr, helped watch 8-12 year olds at Union Township Summer Rec Camp, and helped teach music to 10-15 year olds at Rock Band Camp (run by Steve Hudson). During these camps I helped organize games, make crafts, and provide first aid for the children. I was also asked a Read more few times to watch the children of a family friend, a boy and girl, who were 8 and 10 at the time. Since I have so much experience with large groups of children, I would love to watch smaller groups, or even just one child. I find that though group work is rewarding, the individual connections I have made with kids are the things I really cherish. Being able to give a few children my full attention would be an extremely rewarding experience for me, and I want to make their days as fun as possible for them as well.
