I have been working with children since I was 14 years old. Since then, I have worked as a Camp Counselor, Babysitter, Teacher's Assistant and Tutor. I have experience with children ages 3 through 8. I also have some experience with infants and I am willing to learn more if ever needed. I also have experience with working with students with Special Needs ages 3 through 21. My skills are in Math, Science and Art. I am energetic, creative, caring and responsible. I have been babysitting, teaching and caring for those with special needs for 5+ years. I worked as a Teacher's Assistant at a school for Autistic students for 4 years with ages 3 through 21. I also have experience with restraining students that are self injurious and violent to others. I have experience with body lifting, repositioning and transportation. I am not a nurse, but I've had a lot of experience with taking blood pressure, blood oxygen level, heart rate, injections, giving medications whole or crushed, G Tubes, incontinence and I am more than happy to learn more. In Math I am skilled up to Calculus and have always been good with Biology and Physics. I also have a lot of experience in Art and Architecture because I originally went to school for Architecture before I switched my major to Psychology. I've helped children in elementary school as well as students in college and high school. I am very creative and I am good at breaking down the academics to make it easier for the students. I graduated from Kean University with a degree in Psychology and I am interested in pursuing a career as a Physician's Assistant. As for pets, I have 4 years of experience in caring for horses outdoors and in the stables. I have also volunteered on a weekly basis in Horse Riding Lessons for the handicapped in Oldwick, NJ. I take care of dogs and cats for neighbors all the time when they are away from home. I am an animal lover and I also love reptiles and have experience with snakes and lizards. I've cared for more exotic animals such as hedge hogs and sugar gliders. I currently own a dog, two sugar gliders, one hamster, one snake and two hermit crabs!
