Hi families! Shortly after graduating with my BA in Criminal Justice I realized that my true passion was in teaching and childcare. I got started babysitting when I was just a teenager and then went on to become a full-time nanny for the K family throughout college. After graduation I spent two years doing a nanny-share for the L and B families. It was during these years that I really became passionate about furthering my knowledge of child care, development and teaching methods. I have read many books and taken classes for CDA Certificate. In addition to education, I have 7 years of professional experience caring for children of all ages. I enjoy doing play-based learning activities, reading with children, getting outside, making art and more. We tried this web site for the first time and we are the really the scared type regarding the security of ur children. But we had a big surprise - Ashley is someone so caring and warm - we trusted her right away. She went out of her way to help us we would use her more if we could!!
