Hello! I am an undergraduate student at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. I went to high school at Columbia Preparatory School on the Upper West Side. I am pursuing a double major of Neuroscience and Music at my current university. I am very passionate about working with children of all ages. Throughout my years in high school and currently, I volunteer at the Manhattan Children's Center for kids who have diagnosed autism. I worked in after school programs and day-to-day classes in the summer. I also volunteered at classes in the JCC (on the Upper West Side) for kids who are diagnosed with autism and other learning or attention disabilities. I intend to pursue a medical degree or psychology degree to continue working with children who have special needs. I am comfortable traveling throughout Manhattan and some parts of Brooklyn. I consider myself to be a warm and compassionate person, Read more as I greatly value community service and enhancing a child's learning. My most recent job was a counselor and music director at the New Country Day Camp, where I counseled kids of 3-6 years and led song sessions throughout the camp. I have also had experience babysitting a child with special needs. I would love to assist a family in any way by watching a child during the work day or tutoring in any academic capacity up to high school. Thank you!
