I have always loved working with children, probably because of the fact that my mother is a Gymboree Play and Music teacher and I got the love from her. I became a babysitter my freshman year of high school to make a little extra money and knew then that I wanted to work with children for the rest of my life. From then, I worked as a camp counselor at the Caldwell Community Center for 2 summers and worked at a daycare facility for the entirety of my senior year. Last summer, I also started working for Gymboree Play and Music in Chatham as a front desk employee and was trained as a substitute teacher. I am currently an Occupational Therapy major at Quinnipiac University with a minor in music and this year volunteered at an elementary school as part of my occupational therapy class.
