Dear Family in search of an experienced and wonderful childcare giver, I understand what it means to need help. I too have received live-in and live-out childcare assistants over the years. I am a doubly blessed mother of twins who graduated, this spring, from NYU and Montclair State In addition to my many treasured years in the full-time post of motherhood, as well as my recent and current experiences with babysitting, I am a certified substitute teacher who taught from 2012-2014 at Delaware Township School (k-8). I successfully completed a semester-long internship teaching French there as well. I am a (long term) part-time college student, ergo the internships, and am on my way to one day becoming a French teacher. Needless to say, but nevertheless useful to mention, I am very comfortable and familiar with homework needs; those of my children and my own. Over the past sixteen years, I Read more have also taught Yoga at various studios, schools (to students and teachers alike), and in private homes. I have also enjoyed the privilege of working for my church, most recently in the capacity of a two-year paid position. I will happily provide you with phone numbers for my references and, as you can see, I have already successfully completed this site's enhanced background check but it needs to be renewed. I also hold a valid substitute teacher license whose background check is probably even more substantial. And, if you require it, I am willing to become re-certified for infant child CPR. I love babies and working with children of all ages. I love to care for, educationally entertain, and take part in that artistically as well as athletically natural play that is part and parcel of all of our most beloved childhood experiences. I also speak fluent French, love to read, and play a musical instrument. Please note my current availability is somewhat limited given the fact that I have, for the past two years happily worked with a family, and am committed to their ongoing after-school childcare needs.
