Hi! My name is Erin and I'm a junior at Rowan University studying secondary education and physics. I love working with kids and am an experienced babysitter and summer camp counselor. I started by helping to care for my younger brother and 4 younger cousins and moved on to babysitting for neighbors and families in the area. I was a counselor-in-training (CIT) at YMCA Camp Bernie and worked as a summer camp counselor for two years for the Clinton Township Recreation summer camp program. Last summer, I was a Senior Counselor at YMCA Camp Bernie, and at the end of this summer I start training as a Resident Assistant in the honors dorm at Rowan. I earned the Girl Scout Gold Award teaching younger kids how to recognize, prevent, and respond to bullying. I volunteered as a religious education teacher throughout high school and, after being certified in First Aid, Read more CPR, and AED skills by the American Red Cross, began volunteering as an assistant instructor. I love music (I sing and play the flute and a little piano), reading and creative writing, crafts, swimming, and camping. I have a clean driving record and my own reliable car. I'm taking summer classes locally until June 25. After that date, I'd love to help a family with kids have a fun summer! I look forward to meeting you!
