I've completed two years of college as a social work major and plan to finish with a bachelor's and move on to get a child life specialist certification. Working with children is all I want to do, and I've been doing it (unpaid and paid) since I could. Working alongside my Sunday School Teacher when I was 13 up until I started to co-coach competitive cheerleading throughout high school. Then I went on to work for the YMCA for their Before and After School Care system for a year while in college. When I work with children, I don't just work with them. I engage with them in their activities and learn along with them, all while keeping safety as a top priority.
