Ever since I was 13 years old, I have been watching over children. I started out as a mother's helper, and was soon babysitting for multiple families within my town. I've babysat boys as well as girls, and most recently babysat two girls, ages 8 and 12, three days per week for about 5 hours per day. We played board games as well as made-up games, watched movies, and best of all--baked. The girls loved to make cookies and cupcakes once I introduced them to the oven, and couldn't wait to go to the food store to pick out the best flavor icing. I am an upbeat individual, and always maintain a positive attitude even in the face of conflict. I love being outdoors, so if the children I babysit share the same interest, I'd be happy to play games outside, go for a walk, or play at a park. I'm very easy to get along with, and would channel the children's interest into activities and plans for the summer.
