I grew up working at a barn where I boarded my horse. I was 16 when I began participating in managing a day program catering towards younger riders. I provided instruction as well as guidance to children ages 6-16. The program not only involved teaching children about horses, but taught them independence along with responsibility. When I was 18 I tutored a 9-year-old girl in my neighborhood suffering from a learning disability. We worked together four times a week practicing learning skills and helping her with her homework. When I was 19 I worked at a trail riding stable for a year. I interacted with children on a daily basis and instructed them with riding skills. I also have sporadically sat for a family friend's children. Their boys are ages eight and 10 and I have experience watching them since they were as young as four. I attend Rutgers University Read more - Newark as a business major and live on camps. I am seeking a local babysitting job where I can share my passion towards kids.
