My name is Alissa Negron and I'm looking for a fulfilling position of caring for children. I'm a very happy person who adores children. I recently just moved to San Francisco from New Jersey, and I’m ready to meet a new family that is extremely warm and welcoming. While living in New Jersey, I have gained an exceptional amount of experience working with children. As my attached resume shows, I have 3 years of experience as a nanny for two families. I come from a big family, and family is extremely important to me. That being said, I grew up always babysitting all of my younger cousins as well as family friends children. When I was 15 years old, my aunt asked me to be my cousin Jonathan's full-time baby sitter over the summer. I baby-sat him from the age of 4 up until the age of 9. During the Read more summer, I would take him out for bike rides, swimming, the park, and we would play on his trampoline. I also baby-sat my other cousin who was 7 years old and was responsible for getting him up for school, getting him ready, feeding him breakfast, and getting him on the bus every morning before I went to college. Whenever my aunt was working late, she would have me come back to their house after I was done school and would help him with his homework. I would also prep dinner for him as well. This experience that I had caring for all of my younger cousins really helped me develop exceptional child caring skills. I have a 2 1/2 year old niece who is my everything. I always offer to babysit her because, she makes me extremely happy and I love bonding with her. My sister and I are extremely close and I will do anything to help her especially for her daughter. I recently graduated with my Bachelor's in Spanish at Rowan University. I also have an Associates Degree in Elementary Education. Prior to receiving my Associates Degree, I've spent many semesters working as a teaching assistant in Elementary Schools. Students who are pursuing a teaching degree are required to assist a teacher for a whole semester in order to gain field experience hours on their profile. The times I've spent at the Elementary schools have helped me gain excellent knowledge on how to engage students in learning and how to teach them to be great friend!
