While my mother was actively the leader of her church, I volunteered my time with caring for the youth group. On any given day, I would care anywhere from one to ten children. Personally, I enjoyed the smaller groups because I prefer one on one attention. However, I managed larger groups just fine with proper activities to engage different ages simultaneously. I believe there is so much to learn from children. Their energy and limitless potential inspires me. I believe children are intelligent, creative and kind. I find it my responsibility to reflect those same things to back to the children I care for. I treat children with respect and I find they respect me in return. I take the role of the babysitter quite seriously. I am a young woman who currently has no children of my own. However, I certainly would like to have children in the near Read more future. With that being said, I truly empathize with parents and their need for good childcare. I keep in mind what is best for the child's needs and the parent's wishes. It isn't always easy to do but I have very good judgement. I am a positive individual with a kind heart and lots of patience. I find that children mainly need attention and some guidance from time to time (just like adults do too.) I am currently enrolled as a college student getting my associate's degree in Art. I am very creative and love all kinds of crafting. Coming up with engaging activities is a breeze. And homework help would be no problem at all. I cook and bake well. Healthy bodies are happy bodies! I am open to light cooking if needed. I believe tasking children appropriately in the kitchen allow them to feel a sense of pride. It also teaches them lifelong skills. Science and math lessons can easily be incorporated during this time without them even realizing it! I am responsible, kind, nurturing and good role model. I have flexible hours and a versatile personality that can tend to the needs of your child. I'm excited to meet you and know you will feel confident that your child is in the best care possible.
