Hi, my name is Marlee! I'll be graduating from the University of Miami this May with a bachelor's in Biology and minors in Psychology and Chemistry. Next year I will be start my course to becoming a doctor at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. I love kids and have a great interest in going into pediatrics one day! I worked as a camp counselor for four summers. Three of those years were at sleep away camp in upstate New York and the last was at a local day camp. Being a camp counselor is one of my favorite jobs. I truly loved it, but unfortunately I had to stop in order to prepare for med school. In addition to being a camp counselor, I did as-needed babysitting in high school. I also was involved in Friendship Circle for two years where I worked with a boy with Down syndrome. I Read more have tutoring experience as well. I used to tutor athletes at UMiami, and I worked at Kumon Learning Center for a year. I also have a passion for mentorship and have mentored new students at UM every semester as a CaneBuddy mentor, Biology Advising Mentor, and as an Orientation Week Fellow. My schedule can be flexible, and I'm looking for something that lasts through June and July. Thank you for your consideration!
