I'm a native New Yorker and freelance writer. I grew up in a caring home, where my mother was (and still is!) an early childhood teacher, so I have always been exposed to a fun and thoughtful approach to childcare. As many do, I started babysitting for friends and family in high school and have continued to do so off and on over the years to support my non-traditional work schedule.
