Hello I am Anna an Italian mature single woman with a lot of experience with children of all ages . I come from Ischia, an island off the coast of Naples and I have been in the US for 20 years. I have a healthy lifestyle: I do not smoke, drink alcohol or use drugs and I eat nutritious meals prepared by myself . I am a part time artist and I work as a nanny because I enjoy being with children. I love to make a difference in someone's life and especially in a child' s life. I can imagine how hard it is for a child not to have a parent around him or her all the time, so I try to substitute a parent with care and love. Most of my experience are with 1 year to to 4 years old.However I have some experience with older Read more kids because I was a craft instructor in elementary school, in Italy. For me the well being of a children is very important because their first years are important for their development. In fact beside safety love for children is extremely important. A society that wants to look at the future with hope has to instill good values in kids. This is the most important aspect of a baby sitter job and I think that I am very good at that .Even my presentand previous employers recognized my good work. My experiences with kids have been great even though there were some challenges. For example the child that I took care of last year did not like to be changed the diaper, so I had to distract her while I had to change her by turning on the tivi' , giving her some toys, telling her some stories etc. It was a problem in the beginning but it got easear by end of the year. I was with her for a year and I started when she was 1 year old. The child that I take care of right now ( 2 years old kid) has sometimes hard time to leave her father , so I let her choose where to go ( we either go to a coffe' shop that has a little corner for kids, or we go to a playground where she finds other kids). I do not have any certification or training but I have read a lot about kids development and I have a lot of experience with them. What matters the most to children is the knowing that the caregiver is really there for them for any need they may have.
