I am a 29 year-old graduate of Harvard University. Warm and nurturing by nature, I am excited to nanny with a family that values these qualities. While I am new to the field, I have past experience with children as a camp counselor, soccer coach, tutor with the NJ Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired, assistant kindergarten teacher at the NJ Migrant Farmworker Education Program, and Sunday School teacher. I currently work at a homeless shelter that serves 18-21 year-olds. Working with adolescents on a daily basis has strengthened my patience, creative problem solving, and ability to plan engaging activities. In addition, I am a trained crisis counselor which helps me deescalate potential conflicts. I'm transitioning from nonprofit work to independent creative pursuits, and am seeking a longterm nanny position to complement this change.
