I am a recent law school graduate who is seeking to provide some quality care experiences for your little ones. I have a full-time legal position in NYC, but I am looking for part-time opportunities on nights and weekends in the Jersey City area and/or Hudson Square, Lower West Side, and other areas of NYC within a 30-40 minute commute of Jersey City (Grove St PATH). I have been caring for children since I was 10, and I am now in my early 30s. I am CPR and First Aid trained for all ages. I excelled in math and science (among other subjects) in primary school and can help with your children's homework. I cook relatively healthy myself, but I am also sensitive to different diets that families have adapted to based on children's allergies and nutritional needs. Many of my previous kiddos have all grown up and are graduating high school, going off to college, and some have even graduated college! However, I also have four godchildren ranging in ages from 6 to 16, and an 11-year old nephew and almost 8-year niece who will attest that I am the best "Auntie Kimmy" ever! We love to play board games, color, put together puzzles, do crafts, have dance parties, play dress-up, go for walks in the parks when the weather is nice, read stories, and watch the occasional movie on a rainy day (after our homework is done, of course). I live close to the Grove St. PATH Station, and I rely mostly on public transportation to get around the area. Ideally, I would like to stay in the Jersey City area, but I am willing to consider other areas that are close to public transportation.
