I have been a caregiver for children on and off since I was in high school, so for a little over 10 years. I was a regular babysitter for one family for over 5 years, taking care of two children beginning when they were in elementary school and onwards into middle school. I was responsible for picking them up from school, helping them with homework, keeping them entertained, meal prep, household chores and putting them to bed. I then worked for a time at a learning center, teaching literacy to young children, mostly with special needs. I have my Bachelor's degree in English and Linguistics at SUNY New Paltz. I am preparing to complete my graduate degree in Secondary Education, so I have a passion for child care in all of its forms.
