Hi! My name is Juniellia Jack and I’m an artist and after-school teacher. I don’t have any paid babysitting experience, but my experiences as an after-school teacher, party host, and science event demonstrator leave me well equipped to handle a multitude of kids aged 4-16. Additionally, I’m the third oldest of eight children on my dad’s side so I do have some casual experience. Not to mention, my mother and older sister also were nannies so up to now, I would go to work with them sometimes and watch how they do their jobs and play with the kids or help them out. I’m actually still in contact with a family that my mom worked with for 10 years. I love being a role model for the children that my family has worked for and with. Despite lack of personal [babysitting] experience, I do consider myself a babysitter when I Read more look after my niece and nephew, as well as siblings very often. I always made sure that my niece (now 17 years old) does her homework when she comes home from school and tidies up her room before allowing any [limited] downtime. I often help out my sister with my nephew (now 8 years old) is often out of school due to complications with his Sickle Cell disease. I would interact with him throughout the day, stimulate his mind with flash cards to get familiar with the subjects he's missing out on, and make sure that’s he’s eating three meals a day while monitoring his snacking and screen-time. I don’t have any training or certifications but I was CPR certified up until a little over a year and since I was in college, rest assured that your little ones will get the homework help they need. I also love reading, so if you want your children to read more, I’m the one to find the genre to spark their interest. I can drive own reliable 2006 Honda Accord. I know that hiring me to look after your children seems to be a risk, but I hope that you take a leap of faith with a young women who wouldn’t dare put your children in harm’s way and will always give them the best that I can for their future to be as bright as I can make it. I’m a fast learner so I will fall into routine very easily and, most of all, I’m a lover. My nature is very maternal as it is so just know that above all else, your children will get the love, respect, and discipline that you desire for them.
