Hi! My name is Andrea and I am a 26 year old experienced high energy and fun babysitter, caretaker, and nanny. I graduated from Rutgers University with a BS in Exercise Science and Sports Studies with a focus in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology with coursework in infant and child development. Alongside earning my degree, I began nannying for two energetic boys, ages 3 and 6 years old and spent the last 5+ years serving as their role model, teacher, and support as they grew into the well-rounded and loving 9 and 12 year old boys while also keeping close professional communication with their parents, teachers, coaches, and supervisors. I also worked for parents with with an infant under 6 months for over a year where I got first hand experience in bottle feeding, diaper changing, and support in his progression from sitting to crawling to walking. Over the Read more years, I have experience with infants as young as 3 months old up to children as old as 14, where I was able to gain experience in diaper changing, napping, bathing, homework help, transportation, food preparation, along with a multitude of tasks involved when dealing with children. I have gained the patience and knowledge required to talk and engage with diverse age groups and how to adapt to each situation uniquely and accordingly. I have experience with toddler twins and those with special needs including severe food allergies, asthma, medical needs/requirements, autism, physical/mental disabilities, and learning disabilities. I am also more than willing to partake in any side household chores or animal care required. My degree as well as my past professional work experience as a personal trainer and personal training director at a gym where I was responsible for welcoming new clients and overseeing a team of 4 trainers and working daily with membership and operations management have given me patience, adaptability, creativity, complex problem solving skills while also demonstrating my empathetic and friendly personality. Most importantly, it has given me the opportunity to live out my true passion helping and caring for others.
