My name is Paula, I am a hard-working 25 year-old trying to put myself through college. I am currently taking college courses online in order to obtain an Associate's degree in Business Administration. After graduating high school in 2007 I took some time to travel and work, I had wonderful experiences living everywhere from New York to Nevada! I was born in Brasil but spent a large portion of my life in Northern New Jersey. I love to travel and am willing to do so with your family if/when necessary. Though I don't have any children of my own (yet), I love kids and we always have a blast playing together! I can take direction very well and will take charge of any task I am given in order to perform it in the best way possible. I like to think outside the box and help to enrich the child/children's mind(s) with creative and fun hands-on activities. I have a clean criminal record, or rather, I have never had a criminal record at all! I have a valid, clean driver's license, and I am Adult/Child/Infant CPR certified. I also have my own very reliable mode of transportation, a fairly new Honda Civic. I don't smoke, I also do not allow friends to smoke inside my car so myself and my things will never smell like cigarettes. I love swimming, reading, singing, writing, dancing, and riding bikes. Though I haven't in a while, I can roller blade pretty well too. I don't watch much TV but I am willing to show your child/children any programs that you might wish for them to see. I can help with homework as well as light household chores. I am able to make organic baby food from scratch, as well as cook healthy meals for children. I have experience in sleep-training infants and helping children learn to read. I love to smile and to make others smile with me! I hope you will find me to be a good fit for your family. :)

I met Paula and really liked her. So did my kids. Though her ad states she has 13 years of experience, she really struggled to put together professional references. I liked Paula and the personal references she provided were good, so I made an exception. I now regret this. Though our ad clearly states the need for "light cleaning duties and flexibility," Paula showed up on the first day balking at cleaning duties. Then complained about the hours and demanded more money. She claimed to have cooking skill but clearly did not. She was often late. Today, she failed to show up for work after only three weeks. Then she quit by text message, leaving my wife, kids and I in a grave situation. I would think twice before hiring Paula for a long term position.
