Starting in 2014, I was a summer nanny for two elementary and middle school aged girls for two years. I would regularly sit them and other children through my high school years. During the latter years of high school, I helped multiple families. I was responsible for driving a six year old boy to and from his home to his after-school activities and often stayed to watch during activities. Concurrently, I was responsible for picking up preschool-aged twins from school. In this position I was required to cook, drive children to activities, and entertain. During college, I worked for in-home child care company as a sitter & tutor. As a sitter, I had experience watching children aged from toddlers to middle school. I also have experience being a driver to camps for middle and high school boys, where I was responsible for camp pick up, drop off, food preparation and Read more light household cleaning. In my last position, I was a babysitter for two elementary aged boys in NYC. I would do morning pick ups, prepare lunches, and take children to school via public transit. Beyond traditional babysitter and nanny positions, I work with children during my full time job and also have volunteered with children in the past. Throughout high school, I was an assistant volleyball coach for elementary and middle school children for 5 hours a week. In college I volunteered weekly at the local elementary school, which entailed entertaining and reading to first-graders in an after-school program. I do have a full time job, but my work schedule is flexible. I am open to positions that involve morning pick ups, night-time/weekend babysitting, and the occasional weekday babysitting. I love kids and would be willing to take them around, entertain them during the days with crafts, and look after all their needs.
