I have raised 2 children who are now in university. I have loved every different age and stage of their childhood. It was so much fun to see them change and grow. While they were at elementary and middle school I was very involved with their every day activities and with the school: I served on the HSA, as a regular volunteer in their classrooms and as a member of the school board. I recognize the varying needs of different children, some need more help and encouragement than others. Help may be needed with homework, checking that it has been done, making sure finished assignments have actually been put into backpacks, and prepping for tests. I am aware of stress that can be associated with school work and have found that being organized eases that stress. When my children were little we spent a lot of time reading, doing arts Read more and crafts, playing outside and going to the library. I own a gardening business and work at that part time and I am looking to help look after a child or children on a part time basis.
