I have always enjoyed children, perhaps because I am still a kid at heart. My younger brother was born when I was ten years old, and I immediately felt obligated to be the best big sister ever. And I was! I changed a diaper like a professional and soon became my mom's greatest asset. I babysat for the neighbors through my teenage years and was also a summer camp counselor for 2 years. Most of my recent experience being a nanny/babysitter was for the Lewis family. They have 2 sons, Conner 5, and Dennis 7. My duties including picking the boys up from school, cooking dinner, homework help and of course having fun! Prior to the Lewis', I worked for several years for The Smith family. Kimberly Smith was a single mom to her daughter Lacey. I was hired as Lacey's nanny when she was roughly 3 months (when mom Read more returned to work). I am familiar with all aspects of infant care. From feedings, naps, bathing, development, potty training etc... I was with the family for just over 3 years, until Ms. Smith decided to place Lacey into a daycare program, so she could learn to socialize with children her own age. I was still Lacey's date night sitter, or occasional call in for sick days. What I loved about the Smith's, is I wasn't just a nanny. I helped with her pets, sometimes stayed for dinner, and honestly felt like and was treated like, part of the family!
