I'm a 21 years old from New Jersey.  I am currently a junior at Loyola University in Maryland, majoring in Psychology. I have been babysitting since the eighth grade.  Three summers ago I was a nanny for a family of 2 girls.  This job included driving the kids to and from camp, sports, and friends houses.  I also cooked meals and ran errands for the mother.  In addition, I work for a babysitting agency called Pinch Sitters in NJ. I have babysat for all ages and both girls and boys. Last summer I interned at a hospital in New Jersey with the Nursing research department.
I do not have my own rules, I like to follow guidelines the parents provide me, and I stick to them. I enjoy drawing, playing card games, playing sports outside, board games etc. I also enjoy assisting kids with their homework.  My freshman year of college I volunteered at St. Ambrose center and tutored the children after school. Two years ago, I interned at Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital. I work with the kids during their free time, playing board games, doing arts and crafts, playing wii and meeting their individual goals. Last fall I studied abroad in Florence where I had a host sister who was 13 years old. I learned how to communicate despite language barriers and grew tremendously as an individual.
