I started being a child caregiver two years ago when I was 18. I looked out for four children daily throughout the summer. All four were boys ages 2, 5, 9, and 13. My days would include making meals, doing crafts with the younger children, trips to the park, and other places in town. Being the 2-year-old was not potty trained, he required diaper changes. I would try to keep the four children entertained and outside as much as possible. I worked 5 days a week from 8am-5pm, and I was also available other times upon request. This previous summer I was a caregiver for another family since my original employers moved out of state. The most recent family I would care for were two boys ages 1 and 2. Neither were potty trained so again I had a lot of experience diaper changing. My days with them would include Read more meal preparations, crafts, playing outside, and walks to the park. More recently I have worked for a family on requested evenings. They have two girls ages 6 and 2. Being I am only there at night my responsibilities include getting the girls ready for bed and putting them to sleep. Overall I love working with children and I am comfortable with any age.
