My name is Brianna, and I have been caring for those with special needs for 7 years. My first job was babysitting a 3-year-old girl who lived across the street from me. Later on towards her 5th birthday, she was diagnosed with autism. The transition from her normal life, to a life of accommodation and adjustment lead me to grow with her as she went through this experience. She is energetic and charismatic, and she is the reason why I chose to follow through with a dual certification in early childhood and special education. Working with kids who have special needs or disabilities is one of the biggest priorities in my life. It is my goal to go beyond any misunderstanding that a child with special needs is anything but unique, determined, and beautiful.
