Hi all! I am a current German teacher in Washington, NJ. I work with students in 7th, 8th, and 9th grade and I absolutely love my job. I will be spending most of my summer in Bayside, Queens and am looking to nanny for a family! I love working with kids, so I couldn't imagine doing anything else for the summer. Prior to teaching, I was a basketball camp counselor in the summer in Chappaqua, NY with Teaches Hoops. I worked with age groups 6-16. The past 2 summers I worked with an amazing family to help pick up their 2 children from camp and help with after-camp care. While earning my degree in German at Stony Brook University, I worked for the boys and girls club in Port Jefferson, LI, where I helped children with homework and joined them in various activities such as sports and arts and crafts.
