Hi! My name is Jennifer. Several years ago, I graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Since then, I have earned my Master's in Teaching, Learning, & Curriculum with a concentration on in Educational Leadership. I have worked with children 6 weeks and older (babysitting, nannying, and teaching) and I love every minute of it. My experiences in childcare include babysitting for several different families, working at Kids After Hours, an after-school childcare program, and working as a Kindergarten Teacher at the Goddard School, a preschool and daycare center. I currently teach 3rd Grade at a public elementary school and have years of experience as a 1st Grade teacher. My strengths as a teacher include solidifying the basic building blocks of learning how to read as well as coaching students in comprehension. I am extremely reliable. I am very energetic and am willing to participate in any fun activity from playing games to doing arts and crafts with children. I am a true believer that learning should be fun and hands on!
