Greetings, My professional and personal experiences have afforded me with opportunities in working with children. I recently resigned from a large non-profit organization whose mission was to empower, encourage and instill courage, character and confidence in young children. Within this role I wore many hats. Most importantly, I was able to work with children between the ages of 5-17, leading and directing recreational and skill building activities. In addition, I also worked as an Assistant Director over an educational and recreational center for kids. The focus of this organization was to enlighten and expose children to the arts (music, dance and drama). As a mother of a 7 year old I understand the importance of finding a safe, enriching and nurturing setting for my child to thrive in. I believe that preserving the innocence and imagination of children are essential for growth and development.
