Hi! I'm a 34 year old from Point Pleasant, New Jersey. I've been a baby sitter on and off since I was 13 years old. I was a full-time nanny in NYC during my 4 years of collage which ended in 2011. Since then, I have worked on and off with a family while traveling abroad for months at a time. Most recent experience descriptions: A two and a half year full-time Nanny job with a family living on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, where I lived for four years while attending collage. When I started, the children were 8 months and 4 years old. I spent most of the time with the baby, while the older child was at school and play dates. Spent a lot of time focusing on the babies developmental stages like walking and talking. I was responsible for all duties included in a daily Read more routine, i. e.: meals, errands, diapers, play time, bath time, homework, and bed time. For 3 years I worked on and off for a family between trips abroad. Currently there are 3 children in the family, ages range 1-4. During my time spent with the family I was mostly there during the 2 younger children's birth, so I have extensive infant knowledge, as well as developmental awareness. While solely handling a newborn and 2 toddlers, I have great time management skills and can kindly handle the stress associated, on top of keeping the house tidy. As of September 2014 I started working an after school job with a 7 year old boy with behavioral issues. From this I've gotten a little insight on dealing with children who have uncontrollable impulses. I understand the importance of recognizing their personal triggers and can consciously help them get through their day with ease. Most recently I wrapped up 4 years with a family in Brielle where I was responsible for 4 boys. Currently I am with another family in Brielle fulltime Mon-Fri 11:30-6:30pm. I am looking for early morning, evening, date night, weekend babysitting hours.
