I am a professional living in Princeton. I work a full-time job, but have flexibility on Mondays and Wednesdays. I am looking for a family or families that are looking for a sitter on weekends or in the evenings. I have been babysitting on and off since the 7th grade. I started as a mother's helper for a family in my neighborhood who has two children. When I was in the 8th grade I started babysitting. I would bring the kids home from the bus after school, and care for them until their parents came home. I would help the children with their homework and make them snacks. Through high school I would babysit as needed. Over several summers I would care for children for the entire work day. Mostly I cared for families in the neighborhood in which I grew up, but also for other families that I was Read more recommended to. In college I was a sitter for two families. One family as needed and the other on a daily basis. The family I sat for on a daily basis has three boys ages 3, 7 and 11 (at the time). I would pick them up from school, bring them home, help with homework, make dinner and clean up around the house.    During my first two years in law school I babysat as needed for a couple families in the Brooklyn Heights/Cobble Hill area, and babysat daily for a family with a 12 year old daughter. I am certified as a lifeguard and in CPR and First Aid. While working as a lifeguard, I taught swim lessons on my free-time. I am comfortable being around, and in, the water with children. Two of the families I have babysat for in the past have had children with ADD/ADHD. My brother has asthma, so I have grown up understanding how to help in an emergency situation.
