My former profession was in ICU/trauma nursing. I also had home-care patients on my days off from the hospital, and due to my visiting nurse home-care experiences, I am very adaptable to any situation! I care for homes, pets, elderly, children and babies. I am very responsible, reliable and knowledgeable - but most of all, fun and loving! I left the nursing field and now am a nanny/babysitter/pet sitter and I LOVE IT! My biggest love is children and they love me. I have plenty of nanny experience, from newborns to toddlers to tween-s to teens! Children are a delight and I never get get tired of caring for them! I enjoy what I do best - provide care. I love pets, also, and I never have had a patient, a child, a dog or cat that didn't like me. Find a job you love and never have to "work" Read more a day in your life, and I love caring for children. It's not work to me, it's a blessing. I am available for after school pick-ups and transports to activities, homework help, story time, bath time and to cover your evenings out. I am available all weekend long. I also make a wonderful "occasional sitter", and a great "back-up" sitter. I am usually available on short notice. I have done many overnight care jobs. I am very adaptable and a great "fill-in" sitter to also be your occasional sitter! It is smart to have a good back-up sitter. It's also a nice break for the kids from their regular nanny and great for the parents to have a break and go out! With snow days and half days at school coming up, it's good to have a steady "on-call" sitter! I am formerly a tutor at the college, so I love to help with homework. I enjoy being creative and playing educational games with the kids, singing, reading, being outside, riding bikes, teaching the kids how to play sports and play fair. I am currently going for my Life Guard certification. I swim all year round and love teaching kids how to swim. I feel I was born to be a nanny!
