I am 26 years old with an Associates Degree in Social Work and will be returning to school in September to complete my Bachelors. I spent my last two years of high school working in our preschool. I have babysat for numerous families since I was 14, also cared for my sister after school most of my life who is 6 years younger. I have been a Make a Wish volunteer working as a wish granter meeting with children between the ages of 2-18 to help them convey their wish to the MAW state office in Monroe Township. I meet with the children, fill out paperwork with the family and deliver the wish when complete. I love being around children because I feel they bring out my best qualities. Being away from a parent is a scary thing for young children and it fills me with so much joy to be someone they are comfortable with and look forward to spending time with in their absence.
