My name is Flannery! I am 19 years old and have over 5 years in care-giving/babysitting experience. During the school year I volunteer at a women's shelter near my college. At the shelter I clean, cook and watch different kids while mothers take time for themselves and practice self care. The age range for these kids goes anywhere from 6 months to 14 years old. Outside of volunteering, I love reading, writing, arts and crafts and baking cookies. A lot of people tell me I don't look like your average babysitter, but I take that as a good thing! Too many kids grow up feeling like an outsider. If being a short-haired, tattooed, pierced and happy lesbian makes kids feel less "weird", than maybe the world needs more sitters like me!
