My name is Marissa, I am 23 years old. I'm currently attending Kean University. I'm getting my Bachelors Degree in Biology and then plan on attending Physician Assistant school. I'm very trustworthy and responsible. I love being around kids and I enjoy interacting with them. I have experience with all ages. I've been babysitting since I was 15 but have been full time for two different families in the last 5 years. The one family I worked for a little over 2 years. They had 3 older kids that needed help with homework and someone to take them to extracurricular activities. The second family I was with has 3 girls and I was with them for 3 years. When I started with them, they had two little girls and a third about 8 months into the job. A typical day with them would be to pick the middle girl up Read more from school, prepare a snack for the girls, help with homework, run errands (if needed), take the girls to the park, prepare dinner, give the girls a bath, and put them to bed. I would also clean up the toys if they were out and do the dishes used by us. There have been times where the parents have gone away and I stayed with the girls and I have also traveled with them. Unfortunately, our schedules conflicted due to my class schedule this semester. I'm very creative. I love to do crafts with the kids and making seasonal things. I also like to bake and let the kids have fun in doing so. Playing outside is big for me. I avoid watching TV as much as possible unless it's raining and it's a movie day. I'm very interactive with kids. I have no problem getting on the floor with them and playing. I am capable of preparing bottles, burping a baby, feeding a baby, and changing diapers. Availability right now: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 3-9 p.m. Availability starting in January: Monday-Friday 2:45-9.
