Teacher (Elementary K-6 & Special Education certified) looking for a summer job caring for children and helping families who need a babysitter during summer vacation! I've been teaching for four years but have gained an abundance of experience working with children from preschool to middle school ages in the last ten years. Last summer, I babysat a friends two boys, five and seven, at my home and we had a blast. In addition to caring for them, taking them to waterparks, the beach, the library, parks, etc, I helped the five year old with reading skills that he was struggling with in order to help prepare him for kindergarten! I have a fun and loving personality and I always treat others children as if they were my own. I truly am a nurturer by nature. As an educator, I have gained rapport with many of my students and their families. This summer, I hope to be able to continue to make a difference in the lives of children/families while utilizing my skills as an educator over the summer vacation to help a family in need of a babysitter who they can truly trust. Furthermore, I look forward to gaining more experience and building rapport with your family! I prefer to babysit at my home if possible but I am flexible and willing to meet the needs of the family that I care for. I live in a beautiful townhome with my boyfriend of thirteen years. My boyfriend is an HVAC technician who works long hours. Families who are interested in hiring me as a summer babysitter as well as are considering allowing me to babysit from my home are more than welcome to set up a visit to visit my home because I truly understand the need to ensure the safety of your child/children.
