As a former Kindergarten teacher, I have always enjoyed babysitting and have years of experience babysitting as many as 10 kids at one time! My experience is very diverse; from being a daytime nanny to a growing family from the time the oldest boy was just 10 mos, to providing after-school supervision, rides, and homework help to a great family with 3 tween/teens, and many other wonderful families in between. I am certified in CPR/First Aid from the Red Cross, Personal Training from AFAA, and the Rutgers athletic coach conduct course. I am a former certified Cheerleading coach: Pre-K-8th grade for the Ho-Ho-Kus Saddle River Football Cheerleading Assoc. and at the college level at Drew University. *Added Bonus* Nobody falls from any height on my watch! What Led Me Here: I graduated from Rutgers University in 3 years. After college, I spent a semester as a Kindergarten teacher at a Read more private day school while the permanent teacher was on maternity leave. I have spent 4 years in the corporate sector working for a publicly traded national concrete company and at an international real estate holding company based in NYC, and while these experiences were very educational for me and I met and worked with a lot of really amazing people, I ultimately decided that the corporate office wasn't the place for me and I am much more suited to working with children and families. Fun Facts: -Published playwright -Received AP credit in English and Macroeconomics -Great communication and time management skills! Weaknesses: -Can't seem to win a game of hide and seek with anyone under the age of 5...they are such good hiders! *wink*
