Hello! I'd like to introduce myself... My name is Karen. I am a Mother of 4 children with my oldest being 27 and my youngest is 10 years old. I grew up with 10 siblings in a very active household, so from the very beginning my life has centered around children and family. I am quite comfortable with all aspects of supervising any age child under any circumstance, i. e. busy household, flexible work schedules, etc. My age, a comfortable 50, allows me the experience to be relaxed under stressful situations, prioritize the duties to best benefit the child and, in general, create a more relaxed and happy atmosphere for your child. In my own home, I have always encouraged creativity, imagination, exploration and outdoor activities. As my two older boys are out of the house,one in the work-force and the other a medic with the Army National Guard, I Read more miss the activity, laughter and endless energy that children naturally bring to your life. But most importantly, my skills as a nurturer and caregiver are still at their peak with an endless supply of patience and understanding. I am accustomed to pets, a non-smoker, college graduate, patient and dependable. Access is granted to my background check, as well as my motor vehicle record. I am comfortable in emergency situations, and after raising 4 children, am quite comfortable with any childhood situation. I can offer flexibility in my schedule and could be available at a days' notice for any last minute changes in your schedule or for events that may arise. Although not noted on my availability chart, my evenings are free for "date night" clients, who only need a sitter on a part-time basis. My schedule is currently open to accommodate your required days/hours as needed. If you have any questions, I would be happy to answer them and discuss your requirements further. It allows me to accommodate last-minute schedule changes and any day-to-day unforeseen arrival/departure times that could arise.
