Hello! I'm Lisa. I'm 50, married, and have 21 year old twin daughters who attend college. My work history includes child care at a day care facility, (infants to kindergarten), throughout high school, and retail management for 17 years until I was laid off in 2009. I then attended Camden County Technical Institute and completed the Certified Medical Assistant program in 2010. After graduating, I took care of my father, who suffered from dementia, for several years until he moved into a nursing home. Since 2016, I’ve been working for a family with two wonderful children, a four year old boy, and 2 year old girl who was 3 months old when started caring for both her and her brother. The children will be attending preschool in the fall, and the family will no longer need me. It has been the most rewarding job I’ve ever had and I will Read more miss the kids enormously. In my free time I enjoy cooking, baking, hiking, travel, and nature. I'm very dependable, energetic, organized, and prompt. I was CPR and First Aid Certified in 2016. I understand the anxiety of finding someone who will take care of your child as if he or she was their own. Be assured that I am that person. That is how treat the children that I nanny now. I love them so much. They’ll forever be a part of my life. My current employer is happy be be a reference. At this stage of my life I want to do something that I love, have a job that feels rewarding, not just collect a paycheck.
