I have several years of childcare experience—Most recently, I was a substitute teacher in Albuquerque, NM for 1 year, teaching primarily pre-k, kindergarten & elementary school classes. I regularly babysat for two children, aged 4 and 11, for a 6 month period in 2015. In 2017, I acted as a nanny for 2 children, aged 2 and 4, in Frankfurt, Germany. I've cared for children aged from infancy to 12 years old—these positions required overnight care, tending to children with food allergies, changing diapers, preparing food and feeding, and getting the kids ready for bed. Finally, I worked at LearningRx, a brain training center for children with cognitive disabilities, where I worked with kids aged 4-7 in tutor-like sessions. Overall, I have well-rounded experience with children of all ages and am comfortable caring for up to 3 children at once. I understand the attentiveness and enthusiasm that caring for children requires as well as the responsibility one has in babysitter/nanny positions. I also just love working with kids!
