I’ve worked in childcare for over six years and have found that it is one of the most rewarding jobs. I’ve run a before and after school program for the YMCA. I’ve been an art teacher for YMCA summer camps and I’ve been a teacher’s aide in a full day pre-k classroom. I currently work as a school wide substitute in an elementary school. I’m CPR and First Aid Certified. I have concussion training, as well as state training in child care for children ranging from infants to middle school aged. I also have training and experience with working with children with special needs. Working with kids is great because there is nothing better than watching them grow, seeing the excitement in their eyes from doing fun activities, or being constantly entertained with their silliness. I offer homework help and tutoring as well during this new time of virtual learning.
