I am currently pursuing a degree to become an occupational therapy assistant, and will then continue my education even further to become a pediatric occupational therapist. Since I was young I have been around children - brothers, neighbors, cousins, etc., and I have always been the oldest - which meant I was always supervising. I've had fieldwork experience at special needs schools as well as typical elementary schools, and I worked at a special needs high school for almost 3 years. I have also obtained a CPR certification from the American Heart Association, as well as a Certificate of Eligibility in Kindergarten-6th grade in the state of NJ. I currently work as a behavioral therapist in both school and homes, as well as take care of my younger brother, cousins, and family pets.
