I have both in-home child care and licensed child care experience. Both have given me extensive skills in building relationships with the children I have had the opportunity to care for. The best experience I have gained from childcare has been in my most recent position. I was a nanny to three busy and active children. They showed me that each child has a unique sense of love, intelligence and perspective. This has taught me that a care givers most vital quality is in how to approach each child with empathy and understanding to best help them learn and grow. I feel that this quality is now my most valuable asset in caring for children as it has helped to deepen the bonds I create with the children in my care.
