Hi, My name is Jennie. I am mid 40's and enjoy taking care of children in all ages, as they all have something different to give. Infants are adorable and loving and you'll watch them grown. Just starting school-age, you see how they are starting to grow more independent and are learning more and excited to learn. Pre-teens and teens, you get to know them and their friends, and you are looking forward to hearing their plans for weekends and what subjects they love or papers due etc. I love taking care of children, especially for a longer period of time, to see them grow up and to see their achievements. When I first came to the United States I came as an au-pair and I was caring for three children at the ages of 3,7- and 11-year-old. I brought them to activates, set up play dates, helped with homes Read more work and maintained the rooms clean and laundry. Currently I care for a 6-month-old and a 2-year-old 2 days a week. Myself, I have a 23-year-old daughter and now twin grandchildren who are 2.5 years old, and I have helped my daughter caring for them since they were born. I don't have any specific certificate in childcare, but I have raised my own daughter as well as my grandchildren. I am a very loving and nurturing person who wants the best for all children. I like teaching children (Montessori), play with them as much as possible but also allowing them to play on their own. I love the outdoors, parks, and going for walks etc. as long as the weather permits. I am not big fan on TV for children, unless you feel it's OK.
