Originally I came to caregiving by default. I am a licensed massage therapist and could no longer keep up w/ the physical demands. I have worked short term jobs as personal assisting and cooking, and have given respiratory treatments to hospice patients.. I currently work w/ 2 clients PT as well as keeping a small massage practice. Unfortunately I must give up one of them as the lifting has become too physically demanding. She suffers from parkinson's. My last day is May 3rd. I am filling out this profile today because there is a listing I saw today in my zip code area that I'm interested in. I am an energetic 55 yr old woman and would like to work w/ children again PT. I have worked in day care and did alot of babysitting in my younger years... I also have great nieces and nephews that enjoy being with.
