My husband is in the military and we recently relocated to Albuquerque. I have a 22-month-old son and a second child on the way. I absolutely love children and have exceptional baby-sitting skills. I have experience with all age groups. I love to read, play indoors and outdoors, help with homework, color and watch movies with children. I have two cats and one dog (who basically LIVES for children). I do prefer to babysit in my own home, as I am completely aware of the children's surroundings and am not so scared of the occasional and accidental mess that is bound to occur, but I am not completely against traveling to your home. I love crafts and I have tons of coloring books, paints, fabric, glue, scrapbook paper, etc. I am also an avid Disney fan and have plenty of child-appropriate movies for winding down before naps and/or after dinner.

I was terrified to leave my son with a sitter for the first time, but Shelby was wonderful! She met with me beforehand and I was very impressed by how professional she was and her honesty. It was such a relief to come home and see my son with a big smile on his face that was put there by Miss Shelby! :)

My husband and I have 3 cats. We've had a bad experience with leaving them at a local Boarding place, so we decided to try to find someone to watch them at home so they would have less stress. Shelby was excellent and professional. She was willing to work with our schedule, her rates are very reasonable and most of all she was willing to meet with our cats before hand to make sure they liked her. While we were gone, I was able to get an update on them and I felt comfortable leaving them and was able to enjoy our vacation. She spent plenty of time with them and went above and beyond in caring for them. I highly recommend her and will be utilizing her services again if we need to go on another trip where my "fur-babies" can not join us.
