I began working with children at a daycare when I was 18 years old. I worked there for about a year before moving to Albuquerque. There, I worked as a kindergarten tutor, then as a behavior management specialist for children in elementary, then as a milieu counselor at a residential treatment center for children ages 9 through 17. I have my 45-hour entry level certification to be eligible to work in a daycare setting (this is required by the state of New Mexico). Right now, I am a stay-at-home mom of a 2 year old and a 3 month old. I am one year away from finishing up my bachelor's degree in Social Work at ENMU, in which I will be interning for CYFD.
