Adriana worked for us for 9 months & walked off the job after 1 simple request. Adriana had some work history issues, but after a promising interview, we decided to give her a shot. Right away, she seemed to genuinely love our baby & love working for us. We gave Adriana a few very simple rules for taking care of our daughter, & had told my wife on several occasions if there's something she's not doing right, to please let her know so she could fix it. We asked Adriana repeatedly to not have a particular cartoon on because we don't like the theme, but we'd come home to this cartoon on the TV all the time. We'd ask again, she'd ignore our requests. We noticed a short while ago that Adriana would park her car at the end of the block. We felt this was unsafe, for logical reasons, so we asked her on two separate occasions to park in front of the house. She was parked at the end of the block again today, so I very kindly reiterated our concerns & asked that she park in front of the house. She refused, saying a part on her car is broken & would melt in the sun. Mind you, she parked on the same side of the street, in the sun, down the block. I explained this makes no sense, that the temperature differential wouldn't do any more or less damage regardless of where she parked. I even offered to pay to fix her car ($2,000 according to her), but still refused to move it. My wife reiterated Adriana’s offer to change if she was doing anything we didn't approve of, and she argued. My wife finally let Adriana know that we are her employer, and that if she can't follow our simple rules, then she can't work for us. She gathered her things to leave. We told her that she's about to give up her job and walk out on our daughter, who we thought she loved, because she wouldn't park her car in front of the house?! Adriana has 0 respect for her employers. We won’t give Adriana any recommendation, & we urge you to NOT hire her. Let her know why if/when you respond.

On short notice, Adriana helped watch our 4 year old daughter while we were visiting in Vegas. She came to our hotel and handled every detail for us while our wife and I enjoyed the pool and restaurant. Would definitely recommend and use again.
